I spent 6 months on some mountainous, tropical farmland. This song encompasses that time period, the people I met,and the lessons I learned, like using the act of sharpening a machete as a meditative practice.
lyrics
This morning I woke up its a bad day,
Im hoping my grey will go away.
Sandstone slate,
i watch my blade, I watch my blade.
My thoughts escape, my thoughts escape.
Thank you for the sunshine,
thank you for a clear mind,
thank you for the pure life,
thank you for the good times.
